Bits and Pretzels (B&P)
Bits and Pretzels is a 3-day fantastic live event that connects more than 5000 entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators of the future. The startup festival took place from September 29th to October 1st, 2019 in the city of art, technology and science; Munich, Germany.
The conference starts with an opening ceremony with President Barack Obama opening talk. Mousa, Sadeemâs co-founder who proudly represented Saudi Arabia and exhibited at Bits & Pretzels, said: â our experience in the founders festival in Munich (Bits and Pretzels 2019) was unique by all means, the startup ecosystem in Munich has a lot of quality but there is a huge room for marketingâ
The event was well organized, and it included big names in the industry from Linkedin, to Dropbox, etc.
Sadeem also had the chance to have a booth to showcase its services and products which lead to many positive conversations with investors, collaborators, and partners that will be highlighted in the coming blogs and news. Stay Tuned!
Bits & Pretzels last day, ended with the annual festival, Oktoberfest networking for sharing thoughts and ideas with entrepreneurs. B&P organizers have booked a complete tent for the B&P participants to give another chance of networking with investors and corporate representatives.
âWe were lucky that B&P is happening at a time near a very traditional festival in Germany that happens once a year in October. The representatives and co-founders of Bits and Pretzels greeted us at the entrance of the tent and we had some networking sessions with potential investors.â Mousa said.
According to Mousa, â the startup ecosystem in Germany is generally very developed and has a huge development superiority compared to others in Europe and the worldâ. More than 430 million euros raised in 2018 and 50 VC companies are based in Munich alone. âHowever, in my opinion, it lacks a lot of marketing efforts to flourish and advance. Blockchain and fintech has its share of the German startup ideas, however automotive, and development companies were certainty dominantâ Mousa added.
Bits & Pretzels was a great opportunity for Sadeem to present its innovative products to investors, media, and other 5000 attendees. It is meant to boost brand awareness and build business relationships. Excitedly, Sadeem is looking forward for more Bits & Pretzels.
âThe event was advertised earlier in the year with the keynote speaker, âPresident Obamaâ who shared huge insights on the entrepreneurial roles for better future for the world economy, as well as highlighting the role of diversity, which he described it as (the engine of excellence)â
